Just came back from Kiani and I have to say it was incredible. My family and I had such a great time, so relaxing and enjoyable. The head animator (Gemma) was stand-out and couldn’t do enough for us and made our time so enjoyable, will definitely be back next year!!

The location of the hotel is perfect for us. Near the Marina (approx. 5-10 mins). The shopping areas are also nearby and walking distance, including to the market. There’s a wide range of restaurants and cafes near the hotel. Let’s start with the reception area: Well lit, ‘Gatsby-esque’ style which was lovely. Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The bar has seating areas in and outside which was also fab idea. There’s those sweet little touches of free biscuits and ‘detox’ water and they were beautiful. The room we had was at the fourth floor, near the restaurant and luckily not opposite the elevator. In the room: amenities were available (I.e. ironing board, iron, hair dryer, safe, coffee/tea facility). The usual small fridge, hangers, wardrobe, and smart TV. Fully AC in the room. The controls of lighting and blinds are automated by a touch pad/panel. There’s a lovely touch of an available balcony with seating and a table for two. Though the views were not really much to write home about, it was still a nice addition. The service we had during our stay of 9 nights, was not smooth sailing though. For my husband and I, we try to help by not having the room cleaned or towels changed often, hence it’s every other day that we usually ask for the rooms to be cleaned and the towels we usually aim not to change it unless needed after a few days. To start with, when the room was cleaned a couple of times, the amenities were not replaced (I.e. milk for the coffees/teas) that we used the previous day. We asked reception over the phone, the instructions perhaps due to language barrier resulted in having more coffee pods instead of milk! A few days later when our room was cleaned, the towels were taken (which we did not want them to change) however, not replaced. I phoned reception for the towels at approx. 14:55H that day and an hour later, I went down to reception to remind them of what I have asked! Which was very frustrating as I did not receive any apologies. This is what I am not expecting service wise from a highly rated hotel. The breakfast was beautiful. The views from the restaurant (4th floor) were OK and nice. The outstanding thing that I’ll always remember is the friendly and professional approach of the waitresses. They were fantastic!

The hotel is beautiful, as soon as you walk in you are hit with a beautiful smell and the receptionist was such a lovely man. We arrived with welcome drinks and some paper work then taking to our room. The beds are incredibly soft and comfortable. Reading previous reviews regarding breakfast I was expecting a lot more but what was on offer was lovely. Chania is such a beautiful place to visit! Only downside we got hit with a 10 euro charge per day on checkout but that didn’t take away the beautiful stay we had. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at the Chania Hotel celebrating a birthday. It's a very well appointed boutique hotel, very modern yet cozy. The rooms are top end luxury and its location was just fab, minutes walk from the old harbour - we loved its central location. It offered valet parking and the team was ever so nice and friendly. Anna on reception was very knowledgeable and helpful, our waitress Mira in the restaurant was a a lot of fun and finally, Nantia was the best breakfast hostess one could wish for, always so smiley and welcoming! Many thanks for a great stay, we'll be back!

The hotel is very welcoming and staff are really pleasant and helpful. The hotel is just the right size. It has the feel of large high end hotels but without lots of people making it feel very special. It is very well located to the old town and you can walk to everything. Our room was very clean, good facilities and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good and relaxed - not over busy at anytime we went. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Chania

Die Lage des Hotels ist definitv sehr gut und ein Plus Punkt.
Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die Dame an der Bar hat uns ein Willkommensdrink gegeben. Das Hotel wirkt am Eingang recht hochwertig und man fuehlt sich gut aufgehoben. Ich würde sagen es hat kein 5-Sterne Niveau, aber so um die 3,5-4 absolut.
Das Zimmer das wir bekommen hatten, hatte leider keine Fenster (in der Beschreibung stand es gibt eins). Kein Problem für uns. Unsere gr??ter Kritikpunkt ist, da es in der Dusche keine Tür gab, weil diese entfernt wurde. Somit konnte man leider nicht richtig duschen ohne Wasser nach au?en zu spritzen. Als wir es beim Empfang bescheid gegeben hatten, gab es leider nur ein ?wussten wir gar nicht“ und lieber ans klingelnde Telefon gehen und den Gast stehen lassen. Wer soll es dann wissen wenn nicht das Hotel, leider somit weit entfernt von 5-Sterne Service. Eine kleine Entschuldigung hatten wir erwartet, und das man sich dem Problem annimmt. Finde ich wirklich Schade, dass man so viel Geld und dann ein Zimmer bekommt, welches nicht dem Standard entspricht und eigentlich nicht auf dem gewollten Niveau ist um an G?ste vergeben zu werden. Zum Glück haben wir nur einen Tag hier verbracht und vorher in einem richtigen 5-Sterne Hotel die Woche verbracht.
Ich kann hier wirklich nur overall 3/5 Sterne geben.

Hotel staff did not like their guests . do not stay in this hotel if you have a car . The hotel hates theirs guests there is no front entrance to unload your car , there is one valet, if you’re lucky. The hotel does not cater to any of their guests with cars ,

The Chania Hotel is a modern hotel that has good size rooms and balconies. The rooms are very comfortable with a very beautiful shower and the bed is nice. Unfortunately the hotel couldn’t meet my pre-stay request of a higher up room and request for an early check-in so I was located on the first floor right across from the stairs. The view wasn’t ideal as per picture with constant construction outside during the days. The staircase also doesn’t have good acoustics and echoes throughout with people’s voices carrying quite loudly. I did ask again for a higher room happy to move rooms but they didn’t come back to me on this unfortunately. Breakfast spread was alright not a huge hot variety but the staff were very efficient and friendly. Location was good across from the old town and some good eats around it.

很好的酒店，设施、服务都到位，浴室特别好，洗澡舒服极了，在小镇主街的延长网上，与繁华一线之隔，距离大巴总站也很近，总之很好。如果非要説一条缺点，就是室内的智能灯光系统最好给个説明书，於我而言有点失控。
