Everyone from check in staff to housekeeping was lovely. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are spacious. I had alot of fun at the pool and sauna/steam room. It’s a lovely hotel and perfect for a weekend escape.
Poor customer service at the desk
No greet no smile no thank you on check in
On check out same disappointing service seems like the staff on desk have no clue about customers service
Absolutely shocking experience in service.
Room was clean enough, but had some black mould in the windows and also in the kettle! Bed was super comfortable.
Shower was ok, but wasn't exactly "powerful".
The room had a strange set of windows that looked into the bedroom...with no way of closing or obscuring then.
Heating controls didn't seem to work.
The window did not open so it was difficult to get fresh air.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional from the youngish gentleman who checked us in to Julie at the breakfast reception. Probably one of the very best breakfasts we’ve ever had including many 5* hotels. Julie is also an amazing ambassador.
Excellent pool and gym plus huge car park at just ￡6 - we all hate paying that extra charge but they all do it now.
