Great area! It is basically an apartment and the rooms have been made into suites. There is a housekeeper that visits daily but we hardly ever saw the front desk.

Three strong positives about the hotel: 1) location could not be better, 2) the hotel is newly renovated and very pleasant, 3) the staff are very nice and very helpful. Two significant negatives: 1) for the most part this small, 7 room hotel is not staffed. The maid is there while cleaning the rooms, and the desk seems only to be manned when someone is due to check in. 2) The hotel is on the 3rd floor of a building that otherwise seems unoccupied, and the route to the 3rd floor is off-putting.

This was a lovely hotel right in the center of the Duomo area, walkable to everything. It was very safe, clean, and had all of the amenities you need, including air conditioning, comfortable beds, hair dryer and room darkening window treatments, plus the owners and staff are very kind and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent communication!
From start to finish this was a splendid stay. Checkin was seamless and friendly. Matteo was extremely quick to answer any questions, guiding me to good parking choices and other inquiries. The room was adorable, clean and with excellent quality beds and linens. The location could not be improved on; so close to everything! I highly recommend this property!

Fabulous location almost opposite the Or San Michele. Third floor, lift. rooms are very quiet, well furnished with nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Note there are no facilities here other than the 7 or 8 rooms. Even the staff are only present for short periods - tho they were meticulous at staying in touch. Right next door to the Cantinate del Verrazone- one of Florence's older and cake shops/cafes - v good for breakfast and light lunches. Also early evening meals in summer. Rooms vary in size but all have at least 4m wooden ceilings

We loved our stay at the Residenzia Della Signora. The location could not have been more perfect. Truly in the best neighborhood for shopping restaurants and sight seeing. The room was super clean and comfortable and more importantly QUIET! You would never know the crowds of people on the streets were even there. Matteo and Giavonna were helpful with restaurants recommendations and assisting with a taxi. So glad we found this lovely place to stay!

The room is small but has character. Very high ceilings and antique phone. No safe. No frills . Our train was delayed, so we had to get into the building with two different codes . It was dark, and we had trouble seeing the keypad. Luckily, another guest was coming out and showed us how to get in and how to use the sort of scary looking elevator. Once we got it, all was fine, but I panicked at the thought of not getting on. The host had messaged us the codes while we were on route, and he was a sweet young guy. But in the future, I think.i will be sure there is a reception desk or the hist will meet you at the property to let you in and Orient you on person I guess my age is showing. The hotel is in a good location. Did not have far to go for food choices. We got lost a lot, but that's on us. The property is good.

This was the perfect location for us, a multigenerational family of 10, including 3 children. Having an elevator was extremely helpful with luggage and since one of our family members was recovering from a medical procedure and would not have been able to manage stairs. It was centrally located and a very short walk to many major attractions. The children loved being steps away from the carousel and across the street from excellent gelato. I cannot say enough about how kind and welcoming Stefano was. He was available to us at anytime and never made it seem like a burden to respond to a request. For this reason I cannot imagine staying at any other accommodation in Florence.

Residenza della Signoria è situato in posizione centralissima, tra il Duomo e Piazza della Signoria e Con numerosissime attività commerciali,di ogni genere, vicinissime.B&b con camere fantastiche e pulitissime che si distingue anche per la gentilezza e la cortesia dei proprietari, sempre pronti a soddisfare le Esigenze dei loro ospiti. Super consigliato.

Ik heb hier een geweldig verblijf gehad. B&B ligt op een top locatie . De kamer was perfect : prachtig ingericht met mooie hoge plafonds. Verder zeer comfortabel en schoon. De eigenaar was super vriendelijk, vond het geen probleem om naar het hotel te komen om mij in te checken nadat ik last minute voor het hotel stond. Al met al een top ervaring!
