Abbiamo pranzato il 14 di agosto dopo che ci avevano consigliato il posto . Piacevolissima sorpresa, solo la location vale la visita. Antipasto squisito, ottima lista dei vini (che si possono acquistare allo shop) e personale gentile e preparato. Ci torneremo sicuramente, magari anche per pernottare nello splendido castello.
Sono stato al Castello di Serragiumenta in occasione di un battesimo. La location è davvero molto bella al centro di una vasta tenuta e nei pressi di un maneggio. Il castello presenta diverse sale dove pranzare all'interno e un ristorante esterno la Voliera dove gestire eventi più piccoli. Di recente la struttura si è attrezzata come B&B e presenta una bellissima piscina in cui rilassarsi. I giardini sono molto curati ed è presente una piccola area dedicata ai più piccoli con uno scivolo ed un'altalena zona a dire il vero un pò trascurata. Ma per il resto mi sento sicuramente di consigliarne la visita.
Our room was on the 2nd floor, was quiet and comfortable, heating worked as we visited in the off peak season but rooms stayed comfortable. Building and interiors are nicely decorated. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, all spoke english. We took a self drive tour around their farm using their golf carts and this was good fun and a nice way to see their property. Wi-Fi worked in the room. We ate dinners in their restaurant and all were delicious and staff also very attentive. Tried lots of their wines and bought a few bottles. Very good breakfast spread. Some yoghurt, fresh fruits, cereals, cakes, breads, meats, cheese. Also offer eggs to order for an extra cost. We were very pleased with the breakfast as often Italian breakfasts are the least appetising when only cakes are provided. Only suggestion to improve the room is provide foldable luggage racks so we don’t have to leave suitcases on the floor. If in the region again would stay again as well placed to visit local sights, and staff and meals were excellent.
