Though the beach is just a 20-minute drive away, Paraíso Escondido offers a completely unique experience. It's a space where the feeling of being at home, surrounded by trust and security, intertwines with breathtaking views and a tranquility that soothes the soul. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional treatment from its owners. From Glenn and Berny to their daughter Gisela, who is also involved in the operation, the personalized attention and warmth they provide make you feel like a part of their family. The breakfasts are an authentic delight, served at the table with a selection of local and high-quality products that delight the senses. I must mention how delicious the coffee is, a true gem for coffee enthusiasts. Dinners are also a highlight, always with a vegetarian option available and crafted with fresh local products. The fact that they cook daily according to guests' preferences shows their commitment to providing an exceptional experience. Without a doubt, Hotel Paraíso Escondido is a place where you can find peace and relax completely. It envelops you with a sense of authenticity and home that is hard to describe in words. The owners and the team are incredibly lovely, uncomplicated and you immediately feel at home. The creative vegetarian cuisine is an absolute highlight and deserves the highest praise. Due to the peace and seclusion of this paradise, you can really let your soul dangle. We thank Berny and Glenn for creating this wonderful oasis and hope to come here very often. Guest user：This is such a special place to visit and this would be our second time there. Berny and Glenn are wonderful hosts and so helpful in making reservations, giving directions and recommending different areas to visit. The breakfasts are delicious and a feast for your eyes, as are their dinners if you choose to dine there. We usually would drive to different beaches or other areas of interest around each day, but if you want a place to relax and rest, you could spend days there, enjoying the wonderful view from the hilltop where it sits, to the valley below. The pool and the lovely house are so inviting, you may never want to leave. I highly recommend this special place to visit in Portugal. We can’t wait to go back again one day.
