We stayed at the cottages which were very nice. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Excellent dining experience (7 course meal with wine pairing). Staff was friendly and professional. Excellent experience. Didn’t play golf but had beautiful views over golf course. Everything top.
Great location but poor restaurant
Reception wasn’t very welcoming but that was sorted. Restaurant offerings are either a very expensive fine dining experience or a poor quality pub grub with very limited menu. Generally staff very helpful location very good and excellent potential but missing something
Lovely hotel with great staff
Beautiful property with luxurious bedroom. We loved the curtains, thick soft carpets and high quality bedding. The view from our room was fabulous too. The staff in the hotel are excellent. We received a warm welcome, and found all employees to be very professional, and friendly.
The one downside was the lukewarm temperature of some of the food served in the evening meal and 'hot' breakfast. The plates were not warmed well, so the food chilled quickly before it arrived or after we began eating.
We would definitely stay at Murrayshall again.
This was a beautiful estate in the Highlands. The property is gorgeous. We had a deluxe suite with our two kids and we had a ton of room. We ate at the restaurant which was delicious and had drinks in the bar. The breakfast was included and also very nice. We wish we had stayed more than 1 night! We would highly recommend to other travelers to Scotland.
A classic Scottish country estate, geared towards golfers but very pleasant for non-golfers as well. The estate is set in beautiful countryside, quite close to Perth. The rooms are very small and the lack of a lift (for heritage reasons) can be a challenge. Lovely lounges and bars, and the best scrambled eggs and smoked salmon I have ever tasted.
Murrayshall exceeded all of our expectations. Every member of the staff was kind, attentive, and conducted themselves in a friendly and professional manner. The service and food in both dining halls was excellent. The golf course was very challenging and yet playable. The golf pro was very gracious and extended himself to us. if I am ever in Scotland again, I will make a point to visit Murrayshall!
We loved the Murrayshall Estate Hotel. The hotel is very nice and the grounds around the hotel were very pretty. The restaurant was good and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. No air conditioning but a wonderful breeze with the windows open. I would recommend this hotel.
Siamo capitati per caso in questa struttura. Si tratta di un golf club vicino a Perth. La nostra stanza era una matrimoniale con divano trasformato in letto (a detta di mia figlia abbastanza comodo) grande. Buona la cena sia al ristorante che al bar (c’è la possibilità di mangiare qualcosa anche lì). C’è anche un altro ristorante dove servono burger ma non l’abbiamo provato. Hotel è una antica dimora storica molto bella immersa nella natura. Hotel propone diverse attività (golf, tiro con l’arco e ascia, passeggiate nella tenuta). C’è la possibilità di noleggiare delle bici elettriche.
Just Beautiful
Very brief stay but the Hotel and Grounds are stunning. The breakfast was just Amazing and served by the most lovely lady. Diane, or Diana I think she was called. Greeted with a smile and just the right amount of chat and humour for that hour of the day. Highly Recommended.
