From London, I have been travelling through Italy with my husband and two young children. I was looking for somewhere to stay, and this was a suggestion from ChatGPT. Only recently opened this year, I was initially dubious about the outpouring of positive reviews. However, this place is, without a doubt, somewhere worth staying, or at the very least, enjoying lunch. Once you get past the sheer beauty and the money invested in redeveloping this former college, you realise that the true heart and soul of this place is the staff. The attention to detail is as remarkable as the pasta we had for lunch. Family-friendly, fresh, clean, attentive, and luxurious. I could mention the incredible Lucy, who served us by the pool, but that would be doing a disservice to the rest of the staff, all of whom were equally well trained and attentive. This place deserves to do well. You won’t regret booking here.

Subito accolti con grande professionalità, siamo stati accompagnati per una visita delle varie parti di questa sontuosa struttura. Spettacolare!! Poi siamo stati deliziati dal loro brunch e anche il questa occasione coccolati e seguiti dallo staff. Per finire un giro nel parco e la visita del mercatino di Natale allestito in occasione delle feste. MAGICO!!
Absolutely amazing hotel with outstanding service! Every part of our stay exceeded expectations. The rooms are gorgeous and come with every amenity you could imagine — the heated floors were such a lovely, luxurious touch. Both the restaurant and bar were fantastic, and the spa was a true highlight. I would definitely stay here again — it was an unforgettable experience!

It’s not often a hotel gets absolutely everything right, but Collegio Alla Querce in Florence really does. From the moment we arrived, it felt more like being welcomed into someone’s beautiful home than checking into a hotel. The building, a lovingly restored old school, is stunning. It has all the grandeur you’d expect from Florence, yet it still feels warm and relaxed. Our suite was gorgeous—spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details that made it hard to leave. The staff are outstanding. Everyone we met was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great stay. Nothing ever felt too much trouble. The food was another highlight. The restaurant was elegant without being stuffy, and the pizza by the pool was hands down the best we’ve had anywhere in Florence. After dinner we wandered into the bar for a drink, which was the perfect way to end the evening. In short, it’s a truly world-class hotel. Beautiful setting, brilliant service, amazing food. We’ll be back in a heartbeat.

When you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway indulged in luxury, Collegio alla Querce is your place to be. the hotel is just amazingly beautiful, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and the food in all restaurants is to die for! Only open since March 2025, we cannot say we experienced any hick ups - a well oiled and experienced team to give their customers the best stay. Beyond exceptional experience. From the moment we booked our room on the phone. To the incredibly positive response in organizing our special events and dinners. The staff is 5 stars. The hotel itself is a museum. The thoughtful decor. Ambiance makes you feel as if in your own private villa. The room excellent. Beautiful views. Comfortable linens and bed. Special attention to the coffee offerings in the room along with all the mindful treats. I've traveled to many places in the world. I always look for exceptional hotels. We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Florence and it was simply wonderful. The place is beautiful, every corner feels like a work of art; all the details are so carefully curated that the whole experience becomes truly unique. We absolutely loved our room and the special setting they prepared for us. We had just come from Lake Como, where my boyfriend proposed to me, and arriving here after such magical days was just perfect. Breakfast was delicious, the pool was beautiful, and the service was impeccable—everyone treated us with such kindness and care. The location is excellent, making it very easy to explore and enjoy the city. Florence itself is magnificent, but staying here made our experience even more unforgettable.
