  • Guest：This is a new small guest house (ca. 8 rooms) in Nilaveli. It's on a side road with no traffic and hardly any neighbours - very quiet at night! It's a 10-minute walk to the lovely Nilaveli beach, all on side roads with no traffic, passing typical Sri Lankan houses with the occasional cow on the road. The beach is beautiful there, you can walk along it for a long distance. The room was very large with a double bed, bedside tables, shelves to keep stuff, plenty of hangers and clothes rack. There was AC and fan for cooling. The room had 17 plugs! The bathroom is very spacious, no wet floors all over when taking a shower. There is also a nice sitting area in front of the room to relax. Everything is spotless clean. The hotel was completed just before the Covid outbreak. Right now there is no hot water or TV but I guess that will be put once the guests start arriving. The owner is on site and makes sure that everybody is comfortable. He has worked in a luxury hotel before and knows what he is doing. The food was simply amazing. You discuss your food desires in the morning and they go shopping and prepare it freshly for you. Delicious! We definitely will come back here.
