Stayed for 1 night with my husband and was very impressed with the apartment - spacious and well equipped, very clean with stylish decor. The bath by the window was an added bonus :) staff very friendly and helpful too. Excellent location. Would definitely recommend. Only removed 1 star because of someone singing really loudly before 9am in the corridor - assume this was another guest but I felt his staff should have intervened and told them to shut up as it was early. But other than that an excellent stay :)

We booked a room at the Leven for one night. The hotel is modern, clean, and the bed was cery comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our key card and were locked out of our room however the staff fixed this quickly and we were offered a drink whilst we waited. There was occasional noise during the night from the street outside however this is to be expected at a city centre location and ear plugs are provided if needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends

Great, central location, a few mins from the tram on which I was able to easily get to a concert at coop live. Lovely big room, clean, comfortable bed. Cooking facilities, fridge, table and chairs also available if required. It was noisy all night due to a club being right outside the window, however complimentary ear plugs were provided which quietened the noise. Staff were helpful. No complaints. Great hotel, I recommend it and would use again. I did feel it was expensive at ￡194 but it seems that is the price you have to pay for a decent room on a Saturday night in the city centre, cheaper priced accommodation I looked had very unfavourable reviews!

Lovely hotel to stay in. Rooms large, clean and bed very comfortable. Staff very nice and helpful. Location great....10 mins walk from Picadilly train station, bars/restaurants and shopping. Recommend 100%. Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter for a concert in Co-Op Live. Great access for trams to venue.

Leven on Canal Street was just brilliant during Manchester Pride! Such a perfect spot right in the heart of everything, and it made the weekend feel even more special. The staff were all so lovely, and I have to give a big shoutout to the manager, Daniel – he was incredible and made me feel so welcome. Honestly couldn’t have asked for better.

Cannot recommend this place enough, the staff are warm, friendly and welcoming, whilst the manager went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time! Will definitely be returning ??

First time visiting Leven over Manchester Pride this year, despite going to Pride for 15 years! It was such a find, very clean and well presented, great choice of spirits and the staff always had a smile despite how busy it was. It looks like they have spent a generous amount of money on the place with it being well decorated. Highly recommended a visit. Great atmosphere and somewhere to actually chill and have a blast with friends.

The Leven is beautiful but all that glitters is not gold. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. And we know this because from the time we arrive until we left there was always something we needed assistance with. A light that would not turn off, the particular room that we booked being given away while we were “upgraded” to a room that was inappropriate. The a/c that would stop working on our floor, inadvertently hitting a “kill” switch that turned off all the electrical. Turning off the fridge and freezer unknowingly - the switch labels are impossible to read - and we were not instructed about this at check-in. When the a/c goes off you cannot open the windows as this is a city hotel. Even on the quiet side, in the middle of the week, there were disturbances at 3 am that so open windows are a problem. The last straw was foot noise from the above apartment. We checked out a day early - we’re credited for the nite and stay in another apartment - it was bliss. Nothing went wrong.
