A return visit for us and once again loved every moment. A lovely, large, spotlessly clean room with a very useful kitchenette area for self catering options including a table for dining if required. Loved spending time on the balcony looking out over the sea, a great spot to watch the world - and trains - go by! There was some building work going on in the building next door but this didn't affect our enjoyment at all. Breakfasts were fantastic - a huge choice - catering to all. Owner/staff all really friendly and efficient. We look forward to visiting again hopefully in the not too distant future.

We booked a relaxing long weekend, both having stressful jobs....but that's not what we got. We paid for a room with a balcony but were unable to use it on the Friday due to dreadful building noise next door. Constant drilling, angle grinding, radio blaring out and foul language from the workmen. It completely ruined our first afternoon. It went on until 6.30pm, which is actually against the law! When I texted the owner all I got was 'i don't think they work weekends, and the sun is shining' We should be entitled to a nights refund!! We left a day early as we couldn't face waking up on the Monday to more of the same disturbance. We never even saw the owner to discuss, which I thought was frankly quite rude

Went here for a trip away with my Mum to celebrate our birthdays which are in the coming weeks. The hotel is situated in the perfect location, a stone’s throw away from both the beach, train station, bus links and an arcade across the way. The staff are fantastic, so accommodating who can’t do enough for you. I sometimes avoid paying for ‘breakfast included’ deals as I don’t always feel it’s worth the money but this wasn’t the case at all, the portions were huge, cooked to perfection and clearly done fresh. My mum who is a pescatarian had plenty of options and even enjoyed the veggie sausages. The rooms are spacious, clean and have been decorated beautifully, the sea view was just another bonus! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area that will add something special to your holiday you’ve found it! We will be coming back! Thank you!xx

Fantastic accommodation, right on the seafront! Beautiful room with great facilities and the staff were absolutely delightful. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of food to start the day. Recommend this to anyone looking to stay in one of the most idyllic parts of England. Will definitely be coming back.

Booked a 2 night break as a surprise for my wonderful husband. The Blenheim is perfectly positioned in Dawlish. I'm disabled but really wanted a sea view and they were almost full, so we had room 9, Seascape on the 2nd floor. Beautiful room but when we go again it'll have to be on the ground floor as the stairs were too much for me. That didn't upset our stay. Seascape is a huge room, with unspoilt views of the sea and the tow. Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, coffee and tea etc. There's a dining table and a sofa and the bed is huge and so very comfortable. Decor is beautifully subtle. The ensuite shower room is compact and even my husband struggled getting into the shower as it's of the style where doors don't open very wide. It has everything you need though and The Blenheim is a very old building so it's great how they have used the space. Breakfast choices are a wow. First day we had the large English. It is huge - don't attempt it unless you have a great appetite. 2nd day we had the light bite breakfast and we couldn't manage any toast after that. Great views from the breakfast room too. Fruit juices to help yourself to, cereals, cereal bars, fruit, youghurt, granola too. The Blenheim is immaculate staff are lovely and once we parked we didn't use the car again until we went home. Just a word of warning: if you're a light sleeper be aware, the train line is right next to the room and trains run from 5am until 1am and they run roughly every 5 minutes. It didn't disturb us as the bed is so comfy we were quickly asleep. All in all a fantastic 2 night stay and we're definitely going back to The Blenheim.

Thanks to Ali and her wonderful friendly team for another amazing stay we love coming back again and again, already booked for next year and cant wait. The Breakfast well I always go for the lite bite and its excellent whoever cooks it, my wife likes trying all the offerings and loves every bit of it.

Lovely small hotel located on the seafront and very close to amenities. Exceptionally clean, lovely staff, and fabulous breakfast. Made to feel very welcome and our room was lovely. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Simply the best place to stay.Always a very warm welcome, Ali and the team are fantastic, helpful when needed and always work very hard to give visitors the best experience. . very friendly ,spotlessly clean comfortable rooms .As a solo traveller I usually opt for the cygnet room which has views of the lawn and the sea front. Heating in all rooms if required and very comfortable beds.There are different types and sizes of rooms to suit all. If you are not sure of anything give them a call they'll be happy to help. Fantastic breakfast and a wide choice to. Gluten free and vegetarian options available as well as cereal etc.

The finest hotel in the area ,beautiful rooms sumptious breakfast and super friendly staff , where else would you need to go, the location is the best eotinin easy resch of bus and rail links and esdy car routes to enanle you to explore the only place to stay

Such a great spot. Town centre and right next to the beach. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, airy with comfortable beds. The team were really helpful and friendly and breakfast delicious with a great selection. Convenient kitchenette but also close to take away/restaurants.
