Guest：It is rare these days to find an independent family hotel, located in a top skiing resort, ski in-out, ideally positioned to the slopes and with magnificent unobstructed views. All of that in a charming “home” that is cosy and intimate, yet traditional but stylish with all the modern facilities that you would expect from a higher class hotel. Food is excellent, the restaurant and common areas relaxing and spacious, never crowded. And most importantly the hotel is truly run with understated pride by the Schranz family that from generation to generation turned a pension, into a Garni and then the four (+++) hotel it is today that will remain in your memory for the discreet kindness and attentiveness of the family and their staff. I have stayed at top notch much more expensive mountain resorts anywhere from Aspen, Whistler and all over the Alps. Lech is great skiing, although not the best, but hotel Schranz is genuinely the mountain hotel where I had the best time! We will certainly go back and highly recommend it!: 2023-04-01
