Grappig om te slapen in een tent maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Met wc en douce lekker bed met klamboe. 2 zwembaden waar ze je de handdoeken en drankjes komen brengen. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Diner was super goed. Ontbijt was wat minder. Maar mag de pret niet drukken wij vonden het super leuk!

My stay was short but beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the tents were so cute and had no problems with bugs or anything! The dinner buffet was delicious and well worth the money and the staff was always checking in and so kind. I really enjoyed chatting with Dilshani! She’s so sweet and such a good employee ?????? I will come back again!

Very serene and welcoming Rooms are very clean and comfortable. It was a lovely quiet place to stay and the food was amazing. The service was exceptional and the staff are so beautiful, nothing was a problem.

Nice place to stay. Very relaxing.Food is great a great mix of western and local foods. Bed are comfortable. A few mossies at sunset and sun rise.

Prachtig kleinschalig resort tegen udawalawe nationaal park. 2 fijne zwembaden en als je bij het kleine zwembad naar achter loopt kom je bij een mooie rivier uit. Smiddags was het wel bloedheet in de tent. Ipv een staande ventilator zou een plafond ventilator beter zijn voor de verkoeling. Personeel heel vriendelijk, maar dat zijn ze allemaal wel in Sri Lanka.

Nous aurions pu être emballés par cette nuit passée dans cet h?tel où les chambres sont en fait des toiles de tente dites de luxe. C'est charmant, romantique, avec une terrasse donnant sur la rivière. Notre d?ner a ete organisé auprès de la rivière. Personnel d'une extrême gentillesse, 3 à 4 personnes à notre service. Où étaient donc les autres vacanciers ? Le manager est venu s'enquérir sur notre satisfaction. Où cela s'est compliqué, c'est pour le sommeil. Certes le matelas était très bien, mais la chaleur emmagasinée sous cette tente pendant la journée, et peut être plusieurs jours, n'avait pas été évacuée avant notre arrivée. Pas de climatisation, seul un ventilateur au plafond, accroché si haut qu'il était impossible de régler son inclinaison. Il a fallu demander une télécommande pour le faire fonctionner, les boutons manuels étant injoignables. Il faisait plus chaud sous notre tente qu'à l'extérieur(27°) pendant la nuit. Nous n'avons pas pu dormir de la nuit, et si nous ouvrions la tente, c'était les moustiques qui entraient en action. Malgré la moustiquaire , nous en avons un cuisant souvenir. Pour couronner le tout, un groupe de vacanciers italiens , extrêmement bruyants, et peut enclins au respect pour autrui, ne se sont pas gênés de faire un tapage jusqu'à 00h30. Inutile de vous dire que la toile de tente, ce n'est pas l'isolation phonique la meilleure. Et c'est là d'où vient ma déception première, ; que le manager vienne nous faire des ronds de jambe pour savoir si notre repas nous convient, ok, mais qu'il n'est pas le souci d'intervenir auprès de clients incorrects pour préserver la tranquillité de tous , alors que le r?le d''un h?tel est d'assurer le sommeil des clients...et bien, bof bof. De plus le lendemain, il me dictait presque ce qu'il fallait que je note sur la fiche de satisfaction à remplir après avoir eu connaissance de mes doléances. Son employée d'accueil m'a tendu 2 tickets avec un code barre afin que je puisse émettre un avis sur TripAdvisor, il a voulu lui subtiliser, et n'était pas satisfait craignant peut être cet avis. Je n'ai pas apprécié cette fa?on de faire Autre chose pas pratique du tout ; pas de WiFi dans les chambres et les toiles de tente vous ne pouvez pas les fermer à clé. Quand au personnel : il est super, et la nourriture est bonne. Mais malgré tout je ne recommande pas.

This camp is a really nice place to stay. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious.A real favorite : the semi-open bathroom. And what about the buffet for breakfast and diner!

Hele mooie en rustige plek aan een rivier. Veel aandacht voor mooie planten en sfeervolle plekjes om een drankje te doen en ontbijt / diner. Superlieve en professionele staf die alles doen om je verblijf super te maken. We verbleven met ons gezin in een nieuwe en sfeervolle luxury family tent en dat is zeer goed bevallen! Het is warm zonder airco maar we kregen twee ventilatoren en er waren goede klamboes voorzien. Zwembad ook top. Heel erg fijn verblijf gehad hier, jammer dat we na 2 nachten weer gaan!

We stayed two nights at Athgira River Camp. The glamping tents are really nice - big size with comfortable beds (and extra protection of mosquito nets), and the private but outdoor (to the sky) bathroom is very cool ??. There are two nice outdoor pools to use. The hotel also has a safari service and this is a magical experience. Our safari driver was a great guide, very knowledgeable. The hotel manager Saman is excellent, running a busy operation with individual attention to every guest. Highly recommend!!

We had a brilliant time. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The accommodation was amazing and on a beautiful setting next to the river. Plus, the Safari was definitely a highlight of our hole trip. Thank you.
