Visited the restaurant twice. During our stay. Foid was lovely just simple cooking but great pizzas and pasta AC nd nice deserts We had pizza the first time which were so light that we came back a few ddd as us later

A small ( 40 guests )family- run hotel, with direct access to the slopes. It lies s couple of hundred meters up the hill side, so a car or the local skibus, that stops right outside, is needed unless you like a 20 min hike up and down to the village. But on skis you get in and out to the slopes right outside the hotel. The hotel has been run by the same family for generations, but was very tastefully renovated, or rather rebuilt, just two years ago. The rooms are bright, with balconies and rather large. The wife is in charge of the running of the hotel and the service is warm and friendly, and the husband cooked us wonderful 4-5 course dinners every night. It is a small hotell, so the wellness area can be a little tight if many guests decide to use it at the same time. Pricewise it is a very good value in Val Gardena!

A family feel hotel with friendly and welcoming staff, delicious good and a faultless location for access to the slopes. We had a wonderful time at Hotel Belaval and would thoroughly recommend as your base for a week of skiing in Val Gardena.

Hotel Belaval is located 50 feet from the Sasslong Slope, offering excellent ski in/out opportunities. The skiing is the best in the world in our opinion and Hotel Belaval is a very clean, comfortable hotel. It is family owned and they are very gracious and accommodating hosts. The food is amazing! The breakfast is plentiful including 'eggs your way' each day and the dinner never disappoints. There is a large Salad Bar to choose from each night followed by a five course, elegantly presented and delicious meal. We would never consider staying anywhere else when vacationing in Val Gardena.
