Guest：Upon arrival it turned out we had been to this hotel before, but a few years ago with a different name and owners. Check-in went smoothly and the staff was very friendly and explained carefully what we had to know. We arrived around 3.30pm (check-in is from 3pm) and there was still a lot of cleaning stuff standing around, housekeeping was still busy I assume with the rooms. Our room was, luckily, ready for check-in. The room is clean and the decoration is fine, a minimum but together with the used colors, it gives some warmth to the room. Very positive: there is a small fridge in the room and some water is offered and there is a Nespresso machine. We booked a "junior suite" and not a budget or a standard room, but no idea where the "suite" comes from. The room was rather small. With no chair or sofa to sit in, no desk to work on. At ground floor there is some room where you can work, where breakfast is served, but that area is not comfortable (see later comments) to sit and besides, sometimes you want some privacy to work. The bathroom was convenient, with a good shower and products, but again very small. No space to put your stuff, only shower and toilet next to each other. The sinks to wash your hands or teeth or so where in the room itself. The system to put your suitcase on was broken, clearly broken, maintenance or housekeeping should notice this. As a Flemish speaking guest it was a bit offending to realize there was no Flemish or Dutch channel on the television, and that in the bilingual capital of Belgium! Breakfast was good with for us enough choice. Staff was less friendly at breakfast then check-in (different staff), especially when we asked them about the coffee machine being without water. The seats for breakfast (and working area) are extremely uncomfortable: the tables are small and unstable, compared to the tables the chairs are way to high (even for a small person like me) and the sofa's are too low. You easily get pain in your neck or back if you want to sit there for a longer time. As this our stay was in a quiet period of the year we got a good price but we would not want to pay more considering the room was rather small. This room does not disserve the description of a "suite". We stayed only one night and that was okay, also for our purpose of the visit, but for staying longer the room would be too small and uncomfortable due to not having any seats and so on. The location was perfect four our needs.

Guest：A really lovely hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and was only a minute walk from the Christmas market which was perfect for us. I will recommend to others and would definitely go back again.
