Stayed for 3 nights in the Derwent room and it was fabulous. Large room, very well equipped, really comfortable bed, excellent wifi, large shower room, everything really clean and good quality. Well located just across the river with an easy walk into town, the parking was easy, right outside the door at the front of the house. Martin and Jana are excellent hosts, and the breakfasts were great, good selection and good quality. Would be very happy to return :-)

I had an absolutely fantastic three-day stay at Riverside Escape in May. As a mountain biker my requirements are sometimes a little unusual but the host, Jana, was very accommodating and ensured all my needs were met, from early breakfasts to hanging wet gear, and even the most welcome sauna in my room. The room was large, comfortable, well furnished, great view of the fells and town, and did I mention the sauna :-) The position, just a few minutes walk to the town centre, combined with secure parking, is perfect. Jana was the perfect host; interested, helpful, accommodating, always there when needed. I will definitely stay here for future visits, and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone, whether you're visiting for extreme sports, leisurely sightseeing or anything in between, this is the perfect base.,

Stayed in Derwent room for 3 nights and it was a very restful stay, and so quiet. The room is large and spotlessly clean. The decor and furnishings are extremely tasteful and of quality. I wanted to take the bedside lamps home with me lol. Lovely and clean shower room, with shampoo, conditioner, shower and hand gel. Beautiful bedding - Egyptian cotton sheets and a so so comfy mattress all made for a lovely restful night's sleep. The breakfast was clean and well cooked with quality produce, set us up nicely for the day - thankyou Jana :) Jana comes across as lovely, friendly and very efficient. Michael was also very friendly and informative about the history of Riverside Escape. In total a lovely family, with exceptionately well behaved children (you hardly knew there were children in the house) and the cutest pup (didn't hear him bark once)!! The house itself is lovely and a work in progress. Loved the frontdoor/ entrance way. Overall, the room and breakfast (as described) AND parking, made this outstanding value for money!! And yes, we would stay there again if or when we visit Keswick in the future.

My husband and I spent 3 nights in the bridal suite and it was amazing. Beautiful room, gorgeous breakfast cooked to order, amazing hosts, perfect location! Parking included in the price which was just an added bonus. Couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend.

One of the best B&B stays we have had in Keswick. Conveniently located within a short walk to the centre of Keswick. Place was spotlessly clean and had little extras in the room - hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, bottle of fresh milk in the mini fridge. Breakfast was beautiful. Jana was an amazing host. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the aprtment and loved it. We would plan to stay again. Obviously compact but nevertheless comfortable and relatively spacious apartment. The bedroom was at the back and only had a sky light window, so it was a bit dark but that was not a problem when the rest of the apartment was available to sit and relax in. A very impressive bathroom. A well equipped kitchen. All good and highly recommend.

We stayed here for four nights, and were disappointed that we could only book their suite for two of them, but we found that our room (Derwent) for our second two nights was indeed very comfortable. The suite is beautiful and spacious, offering a jacuzzi and a sauna if you want to avail yourselves of them. You can also sink into a comfy couch to watch the wide screen TV. Jana is very hospitable, and remembers your breakfast preferences. For example we asked for more juice on our first day, and thereafter there were larger pitchers of our chosen juices on the table. The only tricky part is the parking. It's right at the front door, but because they are within walking distance of the town center, they need to keep a stretchy rope across their own space in order to keep people other than their guests from using it. You just need to lower the rope before parking, and then put it back. We liked this place and would stay again.

Amazing stay for a 2 night break. Very close to the centre and an easy quick walk to the town. We stayed in the Derwent Room and this was beautifully decorated and very comfy. Tasty breakfast. Host was lovely and very helpful. Would highly recommend

We stayed here for 2 nights in the bridel suite with breakfast. This is now my new base as and when I revist keswick. The room is better than expected, huge living space and bathroom. The decorations and interior is superb. Jana is an amazing hostess. One if the best places we have stayed in 20 years of going to lakes at least twice a year.

What a wonderful 2 night stay in this fabulous B&B. We wanted for nothing and were truly looked after by Jana. Located on the quieter side you are almost guaranteed a good night's sleep. Well appointed bedrooms with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended.
