Just got back from an amazing vacation at Belize Dive Haven, and I can’t speak more highly about our time there. We had a group of 20+ and the staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of. Chef Bol and his team were outstanding. They made sure all the different dietary preferences in our group were met. We had fresh lobster and fish and we had plated dinners every evening — usually served by 7:00 or 7:30. There were snacks at the bar each night around 5:00 — one evening we even had lionfish fingers from a fresh catch. And the fresh-baked cookies they brought out at lunch and after dives on the boat were a really nice touch. Britney was fantastic — she spent time with the few kids in our group who weren’t diving so the adults could all go out together. That made a big difference, and we were really grateful. As for the diving — it was exceptional. Half Moon Caye and The Elbow are some of the best spots I have ever been. And The Blue Hole, spectacular. I can only speak for the crew on my boat, but Captain Crunch, Sharpie, Brian, and Oscar were a pleasure to be with. Friendly, experienced, and fun to be around. We felt safe and well taken care of every step of the way. Honestly, I wish I could give everyone a shoutout by name, but that would take too long — the entire staff made this trip something special. I’ve read a few of the negative reviews from the large group from June 2025 and was a little nervous going in. After the trip, I feel like those folks may have gone in with the wrong expectations. This is a remote resort — it takes about 1.5 hours by ferry from Belize City — and while that means there may be some logistical limitations, it’s also what makes the place feel so special. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with world-class diving and a team that genuinely cares, this is it. You better Belize we will be back!

I was part of that 60+ diver vacation package. With one difference: I arrived on the Wednesday prior to the start of that fantastic week of diving. I enjoyed meals the first 3 days in the open air dining room (not the hacienda where the group meals were organized. I was favorably impressed with the gourmet selection, and attentive table service. Diving Thursday and Friday were relaxed affairs, where I was taken to the Dive Master's and Boat Captain's favorite sites, including the Witt wreck and Calabash wall among many. After the package vacation portion began, there were differences. I put most of the changes to fitting the menu and services into the greatly constrained budget of our travel organizers. We didn't pay for gourmet table service, nightly entertainment, or extended restaurant hours, so we didn't receive. As for the boat problems noted by some other reviewers, the 30 passenger dive boat hired for our week from Black Coral Expeditions did fail. This was not a resort boat. The resort was prompt in obtaining a similar dive boat from Amigos del Mar, and we were right back in business. There was some cautionary messaging prior to our trip. I was not content to let stand the organizers: "I made the choice to have the event there. I will let my track record speak for itself." I was careful to review available information about the resort. I arrived with reasonable expectations, and my expectations were more than exceeded by the resort itself, the staff, and the well equipped dive shop. I am quite convinced that our organizers had never visited the resort prior to our arrival, based on their comments while at the resort, and after our trip. I will welcome a repeat visit to this special place.

Belize Dive Haven is a beautiful destination with incredible potential. While there are a few areas that could use improvement, the exceptional staff truly make up for it with their professionalism and warm hospitality. The pool is massive—perfect for a relaxing swim and the diving experiences are absolutely breathtaking. My only critique would be the food and beverage offerings. I’d love to see the natural juices made from fresh fruits rather than concentrates. That said, I would definitely return given the chance—it’s an unforgettable experience overall.

Das Resort ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind Mega gro? und super bequem. Die Sicht auf den Ozean vom Zimmerbalkon im 2. Obergeschoss ist unbeschreiblich und auch der Service der Mitarbeiter ist gut. Ein Korallenriff ist mit dem Kajak bequem erreichbar.

Wir waren mit Freunden hier und hatten eine sehr sch?ne Zeit. Der Spot ist was ganz besonderes. Zu empfehlen sind Zimmer ab dem dritten Stockwerk da man von da aus einen tollen Blick auf das Meer hat. Das essen und der Service waren gut, die Erfahrung unbezahlbar.

Pasamos una semana increible con mi pareja y mi perrita. La comida muy completa, variada y sabrosa. Todo el personal hizo que todo sea más que especial, gracias equipo. Realmente se siente como estar en el paraiso. Y nosotros que buceamos no podia ser mejor, los puntos de buceo estuvieron espectaculares. Y todas las actividades para hacer en y desde el hotel estan buenisimas. Snorkel, buceo, paseo a otras islas, pesca,piscina, y relajar desconectado de todo en esta isla.

soy apasionado del buceo y hospedarse acá es perfecto. Y para los que no bucean también, la isla es paradisiaca. Y la comida y el staff hacen que la estadia sea mas increible todavía. Te desconectar del mundo y te conectas con el caribe, ideal para relajarte o aprovechar a hacer todas las actividades que te ofrece el resort. Buceo, snorkel, paseo a otras islas, kayak, stand up, pesca, piscina, y más. Los tragos deliciosos recomendado el panty riper.

Un hotel increíble, en un lugar paradisiaco donde te desconectas del mundo y puedes hacer uno de los mejores buceos/snorkel ya que tiene mucha vida marina al rededor, está muy cerca del Blue Hole, una experiencia increíble!!!
