Het was een heel mooi verblijf de locatie was goed en de host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam de tuin is ook prachtig de auto stond veilig geparkeerd

Everything about this place was absolutely wonderful - it was pretty, comfortable, thoughtful and meticulously arranged. We were given an upgrade by the host Linda - who is the kindest, supportive and absolutely adorable person - my 5yo daughter absolutely loved the place and Linda’s company. The views from the place were also very pretty. The rooms, the pool, the garden - everything was extremely well maintained. The breakfast fast was delicious. Linda even let us pack a sandwich for our way back. She made the stay so easy and comfortable. I’m surely going to go back if I am in Hermanus again

Gute Lage zum langen Sandstrand (Bequem fu?l?ufig erreichbar mit Schwimmaufsicht); Gute, kurze Anbindung nach Hermanus mit dem Auto. überragendes gesundes Frühstück mit frischen Kaffee oder Tee, je nach Wunsch. W?rer sehr gerne l?nger geblieben!

We stayed at the Milkwood lodge for 3 nights and we were very happy with the room and all the facilities. Our room was big and comfortable with a well-appointed kitchenette and a lovely veranda where we could sit outside. Also a big bathroom with shower and bath. Delicious breakfast also included in price. We were received on arrival by the owner, who was always on hand to help and with a friendly word. Great stay.

Wir sind jetzt das 4te mal in Südafrika und kommen immer wieder gerne nach Hermanus. Als Unterkunft gibt es für "uns" (meinen Mann und mich) kein besseres Quartier als Lindas "Milkwood Lodge". Für uns ist es immer wie ein "Nachhause kommen" wenn wir in Hermanus sind. Die Gastfreundschaft, die Hilfsbereitschaft bei Problemen, das tolle Frühstück - alles passt :) Was uns in erster Linie nach Hermanus bringt sind die Wale und die Pinguine in "Betty's Bay", die Einkaufm?glichkeiten, da wir viel "selber kochen" im Urlaub - Lindas hat zwei "Cottages" mit Küche. Ebenso klasse sind die "Verst?ndigungsm?glichkeiten" mit Linda - Linda spricht neben Afrikaans auch englisch und "versteht" deutsch, da sie lange mit einem Deutschen (Georg) verheiratet war. Daher auch Linda's "Nachnahme" Straub. ..und klar ist, das wir wiederkommen werden - keine Frage :)

The owner, Linda, was super kind to arrange my transportation. The breakfast was scrumptious. The place had a big beautiful bath tub. The whole entire place including gardens, pool, and the canopy area was beautiful. You should definitely visit there!!

Milkwood lodge is a lovely place to stay just outside of the centre of Hermanus. From the moment we arrived Linda was welcoming and friendly. We arrived at the same time as some issues in the town with taxi strikes and Linda tried really hard to find us somewhere to go for dinner, ringing round restaurants for us as most seemed to be closed on our first night! She booked a table for us on our second night there and thankfully we did find somewhere to go for our first night. The cottage we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely big bed in the main bedroom and even our own outside space. The main room had underfloor heating which was really welcome as the weather had turned a bit chilly. The shower in the bathroom was amazing, really good pressure and warm water - it was difficult to get out! There was a pool available but we didn't use it as it was just too cold. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice, from cereals and toast and pastry and they made some cooked items that we wanted. The location of the lodge is on the main road in and our of Hermanus and a short drive into the centre of town. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
