Room with Mountainview ok and clean. Petra helped us book a whale watching tour and when we asked if we could have a late checkout due to a late flight she said room was already booked but we could stay and use facilities until we were ready to leave. At Breakfast another lady served us(name began with M). when we asked for more than 1 slice of toast each she was most put out and said if we really wanted it she could do some more but wasnt the 2 slices enough? We went on our whale watching trip then back to the hotel to check out. We put our bags in reception and used loungers by the outdoor pool. M made us feel unwelcome and kept asking when we were leaving. Why don't we go for lunch or what time were we being picked up. We told her Petra said we could use facilities until we were leaving around 2.30. She said she didnt want us there when the new guests were arriving at 2pm and asked us to take our bags. Very disappointed with her attitude and making us feel unwelcome. Location good.

Stayed at Lavender Manor for one night during a business trip in October. I stayed in a Luxury Seaview Suite. The staff was friendly and the check in process was smooth. It was a spacious room, nice bathroom and beautiful view over the Atlantic. The breakfast was very good and check out was also very smooth and friendly. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to people that enjoy a bit of luxury away from home.

So happy I found Lavender Guest Lodge for my 4-days stay at the end of my Namibia & South Africa travels: friendly hosts, a delicious breakfast and the most beautiful and spacious rooms. Loved it!

Tolle Lodge mit gro?zügiger Anlage. Wir haben die Zeit in der Lodge sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind originell ausgestattet. Alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück reichhaltig. Die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Der morgendliche und abendliche Sprung in den Pool bei mehr als 30 Grad sehr angenehm. Insgesamt ein attraktives Preis-Leistungs-Verh?ltnis.

Very cute guest house, lovely gardens, great view and very friendly hosts. Great breakfast the bread was so fresh! Fantastic location for exploring the beach.

Spotlessly clean and a delicious breakfast. The room was lovely and had everything you’d expect and more. We had the added benefit of seeing plenty of whales from the roof terrace. The road is quiet and Dutchies is nearby for a delicious meal.

Very comfortable guest house, we had the sea view suite, and saw whales from the balcony within moments of arriving. Great lounge, and two terraces, one on the roof, for great whale viewing with the binoculars available in the lounge. Honesty bar was a great touch. extremely comfortable night spent here. Duties restaurant on Grotto beach was excellent and within walking distance. For anything more you’d need transport to get into Hermanus centre, or a very lovely walk along the adjacent cliff path
