Excellent location, booked for a few days break, stayed in one the lodges which was cosy .Food was also excellent plenty of choice on menu, all staff were polite and made you feel welcome, if your not into golf, there’s plenty of footpaths to follow ideal for walkers. And if you like shopping Derby is not to far away.would recommend.
Place is actually really nice however when I got into my room the tv wasn’t working and the shower was barely warm in the morning

Have to say the staff who dealt with us front of house and I the restaurant, are pretty much the best I have ever experienced. Only downside of anything was kitchen side as waited over an hour for breakfast after ordering

Sanitary bin in ladies toilets was overflowing with feminine products from Friday night, still not emptied Sunday
Didn’t get our room serviced on our 2nd night, disappointed
Some sort of repairs being carried out at 9am Sunday morning woke us from slumber
Food was very good and served piping hot, staff in restaurant and both bar were excellent.
The cottage is charming and great for a family with two kids, but it requires more maintenance and cleanliness. Particularly, the space at the top with the single beds was dusty, I found several flies and spiders.
We had dinner with friends at the restaurant, and the food was good, and the service was efficient and kind.
Waste of money!
I travel a lot, worldwide and stay on 2*~5*.
This being a premium stay was disappointing to say the least.
At nearly ￡200pn, it looked lovely in the photos.
Coffee machine not working, no offer to replace!
Tap in kitchenette, spraying water all over back wall when used. Not a new issue judging by damage.
Set of lights not working on bedroom,
Paint peeling from wall in bathroom.
All liveable issues but not acceptable when paying premium rates; the details matter!
And don’t get me started on dining experience!
Room was pleasant enough, nice and tidy. Had no electric on arrival but soon sorted that. Nice driving range and golf course on site. Service in the restaurant was really slow to say I was the only one in there. But the food was really nice.
