After booking what we thought was a 5 star, platinum all inclusive hotel, we were excited, however that excitement turned to bitter disappointment when we got there. I will give the pro's first as that is the quickest.... Staff are very attentive and friendly The piano bar is fabulous to relax in with live music most nights and great drinks The hotel grounds a huge and very pretty Negatives The satellite site (where we stayed) is quite a distance from the main hotel site, those less able bodied and with young children will struggle going between the two if not on the golf carts Food in every restaurant we attended was Luke warm at best, with the only hot food being soup made from a powder mix The a la carte restaurants do not cook to order as you would expect, with all food being massive produced and again Luke warm You have to book to gain access to any restaurant apart from the buffet style restaurant Both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are watered down (apart from in the piano bar) If you like a full English breakfast go on elsewhere, the bacon is not proper bacon and the beans are watered down to stretch further The rooms we stayed in were dated and in ill repair (block 8000) and definitely not a 5 star level (beds didn't have bedding to fit, it was a constant fight to be comfortable No milk provided in the rooms for tea or coffee (a guest challenged this and were told it was because the temperature was too hot! Every room had a fridge) Bottled water provided in the room on day 1 was not replenished but you were expected to refill from the taps Our room was not cleaned properly everyday, with me finding other people's hair in it and the sinks and sanitary ware not been cleaned down The shower (a small 800x800 cubicle) was not sealed correctly leading the the floor being wet through (bath mat of no use after one shower), the doors not secured and pulled away, and a bath mixer tap used on the wall which was in the way when washing giving even less space and finally the shower head was fixed in height so impeded washing even further! Overall one of the poorest all inclusive hotels I have stayed in. What was provided was more of a 3 star at best. Thankfully TUI have been brilliant about this and have received our full feedback..my advice is if you are staying in Lambi, don't stay here.

This was my fourth year in a row staying at Blue Lagoon Resort in Lambi, and it truly feels like coming home every time. The resort is always spotless, beautifully maintained, and has such a relaxing atmosphere — it’s the perfect place to unwind. A huge thank you to the amazing staff who make this place so special year after year. Katsoprinaki, the bar manager, was absolutely excellent — super friendly, always polite, and gave brilliant recommendations throughout our stay. Oxana at the pool bar was just as wonderful; she always knew what I wanted before I even said a word! The same goes for all of the day and night staff at the bar by reception — so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special mention to Zyoni (John) who was incredible — as soon as our glass was empty, he was right there with a refill and a smile. The Italian restaurant was lovely too, with great food and excellent service. And I can’t forget the crepe lady, who was the best! Always so accommodating and remembered my order every time — such a lovely touch. Another highlight was seeing the cute animals around the resort — the chickens, kittens, and baby chicks were adorable and added a really homely, peaceful charm to the place. After four visits, I can honestly say the Blue Lagoon never disappoints. The service, the food, and the atmosphere are all top-class. I’ll definitely be returning again in the future — it’s too special not to! ??

The hotel is set on a peninsula which we were told was often quite windy and the man made beach despite having a blue flag is quite uninviting. There are concrete slabs with pipes running through them on the shore line which means it’s difficult to get out for a swim! The hotel as other reviewers have mentioned is spotless, the gardens well kept and the staff very friendly and obliging. It’s obvious, however, that the dining experience isn’t seen as an important part of their customer’s holiday as other reviewers have already indicated. The Greek restaurant was the only relaxing meal we had during our stay. We understand that there are a large number of guests but there is little excuse for the way plates are whipped away from you before your meal is finished or one occasion a supervisor leaned across me whilst I was eating to take an empty plate away. It’s a real shame the management whilst stating that customers opinions are important they don’t act on them! We did enjoy our stay and overall had really lovely time. We were surprised that the hotel don’t offer a shuttle bus into Kos town and that the courtesy room didn’t offer timed slots or just offered a simple changing room facility as individuals were left waiting for whole families to change.

We took our daughters (21 and 32) son-in-law and two grandchildren to the blue Lagoon resort hotel from 27 August to 7 September 2025. Our grandchildren are aged 4 years and 18 months. This review is based upon our experience. We arrived very late in the evening after a long day traveling due to plane delays. Our youngest daughter was staying in the same room as me and my wife so we had arranged for a two bedroom room. There was some confusion regarding our rooms, but the receptionist sorted it out very quickly and gave us an upgrade for both rooms. Sandwiches were available for late arrivals, which we were grateful for. We were swiftly taken by boogie to our respective rooms and it was great that our rooms were next-door to each other. Rooms. The rooms are a little bit tired, but this is to be expected in a large hotel complex which sees constant turnaround of guests. The rooms were cleaned daily as were the bedsheets and the beds were made up each day. I will shower was faulty, which we reported straight away And it was repaired promptly. We had no issues with the room. There is a TV but we didn’t use it. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the fridge to store cold drinks if you wished. We were provided with a small bottle of cold water on arrival. This wasn’t replenished however there are plenty of areas to get cold water throughout the hotel complex. we had a large, super king bed, which was very comfortable. Our daughter had the choice of two beds in the separate bedroom. Overall, the room was spacious. I’m more than large enough for three adults to share without getting in each other’s way. Food and drink We mainly at the Nisos buffet and had a wide variety of food to suit all tastes. there was seven of us in our group ranging from 18 months to 66 years old and we all managed to find food that we could all enjoy. There is a wide variety of hot and cold foods as well as choice for vegetarians. We booked the Chinese restaurant for one evening this, however, was pretty chaotic. We all ordered our starters and mains, which all arrived on our table at the same time… 14 separate meals made it very difficult to eat. However, we saw the funny side of it and still had a good time plus the food was OK. The staff at the Nisos and the Chinese restaurant were exceptional and were a credit to themselves and the hotel. Pools. There are four pools and I think that we tried them all! The main one is like a huge lagoon, with whirlpool baths and water jets. This is a very busy hotel and the sun loungers were covered in beach towels from the early morning. However, as with most hotels, the majority of lounges were left unused for hours at an end, this is really irritating, and I do wish that hotels in general would make more of an effort to stop this practice. We often struggled to find sufficient lounges for all seven of us in the same location. If you want to rest from the hustle and bustle of kids and loud music, you should try the adult pool. I

The Blue Lagoon is a good resort. The site is vast so be prepared to walk!! There is a buggy service to take you between areas. The food was ok. I would definitely book into the specialist restaurants and they are much smaller therefore quieter feeling. I also thought the food was better quality in the specialist restaurants. I felt very full up by the end of the holiday. The pools are amazing, chilly, but amazing. There is plenty of choice. We found some more secluded pools in the satellite area. The entertainment was not to our taste. We were traveling with older teens and we would have liked a club/ DJ bar as well as the main show songs. We really enjoyed the piano bar. The singer and pianist were brilliant. Our room was very basic. Not enough storage for 3 people. Beds were not great. We were a little disappointed with the quality of the room, compared to other 5 star hotels we have stayed at. Over all we had a lovely holiday. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Good holiday for families with younger children.

Please ignore the negative reviews. We loved our holiday here and it's definitely a five star experience, staff, food, pools, gardens are all amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to return! Unfortunately you always get those you can't please. Blue lagoon resort...be proud of what you do and what you have, we can't fault our experience, well done! Special mention to Jane in the resteraunt, nothing was too much trouble for this lady. Love the cat station and seeing all of the lovely cared for cats. Don't forget to leave a donation for them in reception. You won't be disappointed with your stay here!

Absolutely superb stay. From arriving gone midnight and a speedy check-in, we were told there was a fridge full of sandwiches to help ourselves with while all our luggage was collected and put on a golf buggy to take us to our room. Didn’t know where we were as a late dark arrival but woke the next morning to realise we couldn’t be any nearer to the pool. Excellent location and directly across from the Greek restaurant which had a quiet bar too. Rooms were fine, excellent air con which is very much needed and a great feature that the do not disturb/make up room signs fit in the slot for the electrics to work so air on on all day cooling the room after a day of 35c. Only thing I would improve would be the shower/bath, instead of the shower head facing across the bath it would be better at one end, if you’ve been in one of the rooms like this you will know what i mean…..but it’s hardly a deal breaker, shower still cleans you . Buffet was excellent with plenty to choose from. People say it’s repetitive….. if you pile spaghetti, chips, burger, fish, veg, pizza, salad, chicken, pork and beef and everything else that’s there on your plate in one go (seen many do this) then it will be the same every day!!! Just because it’s there doesn’t mean it has to go on your plate every day! Pool time was great……never seen a pool as big in my life, absolutely enormous. Staff get you going with entertainment there too but don’t mither you, excellent. Used the Stevebikes too, very friendly and easy and simple to hire. Expensive mini-market onsite, 5 minutes walk along beach road and a mini-market at a fraction of the price, nice stroll after/before dinner. A separate note, don’t let the Tui rep (Joe) scare you with “if you go to town there are only 17 taxis on Kos island and you might get stranded” or “as you’ve booked an excursion through the Tui app then if anything goes wrong I can’t help you as you’ve not booked through me”. Both completely wrong and misleading. Great little touch by the hotel for my birthday that they put a bottle of fizz and 2 glasses in the room while we were out during the daytime. Lovely little touch. All in all this was a fantastic stay in a lovely clean hotel, checkout was at 11:00 and we weren’t leaving until 20:00 but they have luggage storage, a shower block where the pool towels are and you keep your AI until you bored your transport home. Would highly recommend this resort.

We had the most amazing time here we stayed for 11 nights as a family children were 16 14 and 7. Hotel was lovely and clean every single member of staff were friendly and wonderful. The hotels beach is a little shingle beach but we still enjoyed it. We all enjoyed the food and we are fussy eaters. People need to remember all inclusive food will always be different to a local taverna! We found the bus service fine as we went into Kos town twice via bus and no problems. The pools are great the kids loved the water slides, main pool beds were all gone by 8am but we always got beds at the other pools. Yes it is a big resort but this didn’t bother us. We will definitely be back!
