The Castle House Luxury Apartments are I such a great location. Everything is within walking distance with the bus stops to most of the tours within 5 minutes walk. The apartments themselves are very clean, well equipped and warm! There is underfloor heating in the bathroom and being Iceland, instant hot water!! The beds are very comfortable, with lovely warm quilts and pillows. Check in is easy, with a key code sent to you just before you arrive and although there isn’t a reception desk you get a number to call if there are any issues and they do answer immediately and are very helpful. Would definitely come back for another stay!!

Wonderful location just off the center of the city. Comfortable and clean apartment. Felt very safe for a solo traveler. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. I didn’t use the other appliances. Bed was comfy and shower was fantastic. Host communication was excellent. Convenient luggage storage if you get in early, or if you are leaving the city well after check out.

Wish they had some signage so we would have known we were standing across the street when we asked a stranger if they knew where the place was. The shower was tiny and water flooded the floor no matter what we did to keep it from happening. Great location.

We send our guests detailed informtion about the location, including gps co ordinates. We do have a sigh in front of the building. In the 29 years we have been open, you are the first to have a problem finding us. The bathroom is not large but it does have a heated floor and heated towel rack. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, a sleeping room anda seperate living room. We do our utmost to make our guests happy. When you called about the shower, we reacted immediately and fixed the drain. I hope you are home safe and sound in familiar surroundings. Thank you for staying with us.

The apartment is well situated, with a nice view of the Pond. It has lots of litght, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower is good and the bed comfortable. The ability to leave luggage on-site prior to arrival or at departure was quite appreciated. The reason for our 4 of 5 is the electronic key entry system that constantly troubled us, and no one on site to help us. We did not have SIM cards on our phones, so reaching the office was hard at first til we tried WhatsApp and they were only somewhat helpful. Confusing to us was the early instructions about how to engage the system at the storage location and different instructions at the front door. Had someone been there to run us through the system, our stay would have been less stressful.

Spend a weekend in Reykjavik! A weekend was the perfect amount of time to explore the city of Reykjavik. We found a great tour about the local lore and a couple of museums about Icelandic history.

Navnet Luxury stemmer ikke. Dette er en ordin?r le Luxury Apartment var det langt fra. Leiligheten var en eldre oppusset leilighet. Greit utstyrt. God beliggenhet. Navnet "over-selger" produktet og vi ble skuffet.

The guest is a travel agent and knows the business well. I met with him and his wife. He claimed that he did not realize that our 3 star self catering apartments were not a luxury hotel because of our name. Then he demanded a 50% discount. I offered him instead to cancel tha booking without payment so he could move to a hotel of his liking. He declined. I cannot see what more I could have done for him.

Super comfortable, clean, and spacious. Only drawbacks were that the airport is very close meaning you hear and see large planes flying very low overhead. They don't fly late into the night or start very early though, so it didn't detract from our stay other than startling us the first time. We also had a couple issues with the keypad at the front entry, but we were still able to get in. Amazing location and very lovely stay overall though! And parking was very easy to find.

It was a nice quiet location but very walkable to the downtown shopping and restaurants.
