Stayed at the Damon appointments approximately 5 years ago thought we would return there is a new pool area built since our last visit a nice area unfortunately we found the pool still pretty cold there were various stains on the patio areas from spilled drinks etc they were still there the next day and not swilled down Our room was ok looking over the older pool the cleaning was a bit hit and miss the beds were changed frequently as were the towel although one left for the floor although nice and white had a hole in it and should have been thrown away the patio area was a bit dusty I don’t think it saw a mop also the lounge had a slight smell of damp The food in the restaurant was reasonable but the choice we felt was repeated also it was never hot food that came straight out of the kitchen was lukewarm and gave the impression that it had been hanging around Cleaning in the stairs area was also neglected We were wondering if these areas were neglected due to it was the end of the season

Lovely hotel. Ignore bad reviews. The cleanest 3star I've ever stayed. Lovely staff, entertainment great. Had bb and food was fine . Spot on location. 1st time cyprus and shall return. Venus beach stunning 15 mins walk. You can use sister hotels facilities. Only note, sunbeds and brollies need renewing. Booking to return next year. Thanks guys x

Wish i could rate 4.5 stars as the Damon was only just short of 5 stars for me. My second stay here was so glad I came back for a second visit! Large apartment, comfy bed nice kitchenette. In my opinion the food and housekeeping both improved since last year. As for the reviews complaining about the food I honestly don’t know what people expect from a 3 * there was a good choice, yes maybe it could be a bit hotter but that’s always a challenge with buffet service. Variety of tasty dishes although I don’t think desserts were quite as good as last year there were still some yummy gateaus. Ate out a couple of times but out of personal choice not because food was not up to scratch. Towels changed daily, bedding changed once in my 9 day stay which I was happy with. Staff were lovely especially Robert on the bar and the great waiters in the restaurant. Entertainment low key but it was last week of season so probably why. Location fantastic, 10 mins from mall, 20 mins from harbour , on bus route, pit stop bar just round corner for a good fun night out, also o Neil’s bar and great food at tea for two. What’s not to love! I will definitely be making another return visit!

This was our first time in cypress, and we had the best time staying in the Damon hotel and apts, perfectly situated ten minute walk to the beach, 20 minute walk to the harbour, various pubs, restaurants and shops along the same road, also a massive shopping centre 15 minute walk, the hotel itself was very clean, the staff are really friendly, the entertainment was good, bingo every night, karaoke, singers and a very funny entertainment mgr. we were pleasantly suprised with the food as this hotel is only three star, we really enjoyed the food, it was always hot and fresh, all in all we cannot fault this hotel and will definitely return there, also the beds were very comfy

We have only returned 2 days ago and are so missing the place already. We were welcomed on arrival.by Angelina on Reception, who was so helpful and friendly, our room was ready. which was a welcomed relief after a long journey, Angelina took us to the room and told us about meal times etc. The room was lovely, a superior room , very spacious, spotlessly clean, we had requested a pool view and we got one so that was a nice suprise, we also were gifted with a bottle of wine and fruit basket, nice touch. The maid came in regularly to clean and change towels etc The food in the restaurant was lovely, which was a welcome relief from hearing all the bad reviews, I am a very picky eater but I never struggled to find anything to eat, infact I was spoilt for choice everyday, there was beef, pork, chicken, pasta, salad, veg, roast potatoes, etc, and a different soup everyday. I can only echo what everyone else has said about the staff, they are so lovely and attentive, especially Harun, Sabir, Saager, Sony, Arrun, Alex, John, Robert as well as the amazing entertainment staff, Pino, Gabby and Rudi , they were always on hand to get you involved in day/evening activities but wasn't overpowering if you didn't , the only thing I would say is although there was a variety of different entertainment each night (except their day off on Wednesday) but every night was always bingo and open the box which got quite repetitive, I think maybe do something else different on some nights as karaoke was only on a short while so you didn't get to do any more than 2 songs. The only member of staff that wasn't welcoming was Miriella on reception, who just gives everyone filthy looks, no matter what time of day or night it is, she makes you feel very uncomfortable. There are 3 pools at the hotel, the main pool at the front, the pool at the back (which is warmer) both have a bar, there's also one at the side which is hardly ever used. People were reserving sunbeds early in the morning and not using them, but with this aside there was always spare ones. The beach is a short walk away, as is the harbour (15 mins), macdonalds and tea for two (fab food) are very close by as are pitstop bar with entertainment and o Neil's Places recommended would be Boogies karaoke bar, baywatch and Robin hood on bar street, the Kings Mall, the aphrodite waterpark, the old town, coral bay, harbour and of course if you want to make your holiday really special Paphos sea cruises do some fantastic cruises to suit all tastes from a quiet chilled out and relaxed cruise to an evening with fireworks and entertainment, the yachts are amazing. If you fancy hiring a car, Pentaras Car rentals are fantastic, they are located next to the Keg and Barrell on bar street, fantastic service and not pushy, the guy will accommodate you with whatever you need, whether this be 1 day or more, we had a swift, it was clean and came with all mod cons you need to help you get around,Polis and Latchi harbour a

Prima apartement voor deze prijs. Gelegen op een mooie centrale plek in Paphos. Fijne en goed onderhouden zwembaden. Uitstekende schoonmaak elke dag. Oftwel een prima plek voor de wat oudere bezoeker. Je moet wel tegen Britten kunnen. Die overwinteren hier.

Stayed here last year as a last minute break and was very impressed so we came back with our teenager children. We had a 2 bed apartment which was very clean but in need of a refurb. We thought that the food wasn’t quite as good this time, perfectly adequate but not as much choice and the desserts were very poor. The entertainment was excellent and Pino, the organiser, was such a great guy. They’re very lucky to have him, The hotel is well placed in Paphos with lots of bars and shops nearby and a short walk to the harbour. Overall, the staff are lovely, rooms are good but do need refurbed, food is good but needs a bit more variety. We’d definitely come again.

Never been to this hotel and like most you look at the reviews starting with the least favourable. Personally I cant see what their on about. I found rooms clean, staff great location spot on and fresh towels daily. Would definitely book again. Thanks for my stay

Really good value holiday. Clean spacious apartments. We had a ground floor one overlooking the pool which was brilliant. The staff are all fabulous and work really hard. Special thanks to Hardun in the restaurant who was so attentive, smiling and positive. On arrival at midnight we got a sandwich and bottle of water, then in the apartment there was a bottle of wine along with a bowl of fruit, which is a lovely welcome. We had a slight problem with our door not closing properly and the aircon not therefore working but once we reported it, they sent someone to fix it really quickly. Facilities are good, plenty of sunbeds around a choice of three pools. We only used the main pool as our daughter joined in the activities but understand that for those seeking a quieter place the other two pools are good for that. The entertainment team are ace. Pino particularly is a massive asset, remembering everyone’s names and whether they have been there before. His love of his job is obvious and he is great, but so are Rudy and Gabby. The team get a well deserved day off on a Wednesday so it is a bit quiet then. Sadly one evening when the karaoke was on everyone’s enjoyment was impacted by a family who had been drinking all day and caused quite a scene. However Pino and his team dealt with it tactfully, and I understand that the hotel cautioned the family about their behaviour and there was no further drama (whilst we were there anyway). The hotel cannot be blamed for guests’ choices, and dealt with it the best way they could. It was our first time going all inclusive and most guests were there on that basis. It was great having access to refreshments all day. The food was generally of a really decent standard, with a good range. The beef stew on Greek night was delicious. It did get a bit repetitive going to the same place lunchtime and evening so would recommend going out to eat sometimes for a bit of variety, but I get that is one of the pay-offs for going all inclusive. I would definitely recommend going if you like somewhere that has lots going on and want value for money, with just a 20 minute transfer (we had a private taxi). The return flights all appear to be late at night so would recommend booking the late check out option ant time of booking - we did and as a result really enjoyed our last day. Overall, we loved it and would consider going back.

Been back nearly a week from another amazing 2 week stay at the Damon. This is our 8th stay over the years and it just gets better!! The staff this year were superb, Robert, Bony, Alex all went above and beyond and did their upmost to keep all guests happy, they are a real credit to the hotel. The restaurant staff, especially Harun, were always there to greet you with a smile!! It goes without saying that Pino is amazing and is memory is sublime!! He is the heart of this hotel and this year he had Rudy and Gaby as his assistants and they did not let him down!! The food was good but what I would say is that it would be beneficial to put a tray of chips out at meal times, as let's be honest they can accompany any meal. The entertainment is brilliant and you never feel pressured to join in, Pino pitches it just right. I emailed the reception team before arrival with a few requests, they replied promptly and did their best to make sure my requests were met. People ask why do we return each year, the reasons are written above. If you are after a relaxing, fun filled holiday, with amazing staff and friendly atmosphere, then look no further. We have already booked for next year!!
