Located lead than 20 mins from the airport, this is a perfect getaway before one starts their journey through this beautiful country or as you end an exciting trip and head back home. Either way this was a home away from home, with the beautiful decor, the idyllic setting, the plush rooms, a serene and tranquil view of the paddy isle, a charmingly inviting garden and very hospitable and loving staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home as you were one of their own. Can't wait to visit again and take in the beauty and tranquility.. thank you Sanjay and team

Had the pleasure of spending 2 nights with my husband here for his birthday! It was a wonderful stay! Mr Gihan and the team were very attentive and welcoming. Even the owner dropped by to say hi and ensure our stay was comfortable. Food was great and the chef was very flexible with our requests! *Small suggestion - for the western breakfast option where we were served a choice of egg, 2 sausages and a piece of bacon ; may be some hash browns/grilled mushrooms/cheese etc could be added. If you’re looking for a secluded, romantic getaway not too far from Colombo then Kirindi Paddy Isle is the place for you. However do note, since the airport is of close proximity, planes fly by frequently and it can get loud. Also, fireworks go off randomly from time to time ((you’re in Kimbulapitiya after all)).

We had an amazing stay at Kirindi Paddy Isle. The location is perfect as it's close to the airport yet set away amongst the paddy fields in a serene oasis. The house itself is beautifully styled and was probably one of the nicest we have stayed in whilst travelling in Sri Lanka. It celebrates and showcases Sri Lankan architecture, deco and tradition in a beautiful way. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and stylish and the plunge pool is a real bonus - we spent much of our time whiling away out time looking out over paddy. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and we really enjoyed wandering through the paddy - the bird life is abundant and we even spotted two otters which was the highlight. The staff were very attentive. We have already recommended to friends and will definitely be putting this little gem on our next itinerary.

What a beautiful place, so serene! The staff were incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful. They showed us all around the grounds, helping us to identify various flowers, plants and trees. Highly recommend!

Kirindi Paddy Isle – A Peaceful Retreat Surrounded by Nature We stayed here on the night of 5th November on full board. The property has a charming, rustic character, set within a beautiful tree-filled garden surrounded by wide open paddy fields. It feels private, quiet, and very naturally Sri Lankan. The food was simple, fresh, and very well prepared. The constant breeze, the birds, and the view of green fields made it a truly relaxing stay. What we appreciated most was the sense of calm and the absence of unnecessary noise or activity. It is the kind of place where you can simply rest and breathe. The hospitality was excellent. Gihan (manager), Mala (butler), Nerajan (chef), and Dayananda (gardener) were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, showing the best of relaxed Sri Lankan hospitality. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with a private plunge pool and well-kept bathrooms. We left feeling refreshed and content. I would recommend Kirindi Paddy Isle to anyone who loves nature, birdlife, and quiet surroundings, and who wants a break away from the usual rush of daily life.

The communication from the host after booking is good. Location is not too far from the airport however as my room is very close to kitchen and the room is not noise free so you can pretty much hear everything from people cleaning , cooking , talking as if you are in the same room all the time. ,even my dinner end at 7 pm the cooking for the staff and all won’t end at around 9 which is not good if you really want to rest up and sleep. Apart from that location is good. Surrounding is beautiful. Food is ok I would prefer more traditional Srilankan than they are trying to make western food and not as impressive. Spring roll is over cooked and vegetables soup was not impressive. It also just that they won’t stop cooking for themselves afterward as well until late night and my room would smell. Maybe they should have circulation better and advertise that we can hear everything all the time as sharing space.

My mother and I had a truly wonderful stay at this property. It took me back to the days of my childhood in the village , something I hadn’t experienced in many years. If you’re a nature lover looking to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy schedule, this is the perfect place. Surrounded by lush paddy fields, the property offers a calm, serene environment that helps you reconnect with nature. The place is very clean and well-maintained, with individual rooms that offer both privacy and comfort.The boutique manager and staff were incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring each guest had a comfortable and personalized experience. The hospitality was exceptional, and they gave us the space to truly enjoy the surroundings at our own pace. The chef deserves a special mention, the food was absolutely delicious and of genuine 5-star quality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, nature, and a taste of authentic village charm.

Восхитительный уединенный отель! С огромной зелёной территорией. Мы останавливались в номере с бассейном, вода бодрящая, но очень классно. Персонал отеля очень отзывчивый, приветливый. Ужин на заказ готовили, очень все было вкусно, и очень большие порции, 1 ужина хватит на двоих вполне. Все просьбы и пожелания выполнялись в полной мере. Номера большие и очень аутентичные! Казалось, что живем в собственной вилле. Все было очень круто, всем однозначно рекомендую!

如果晚上从机场过去，经过一个非常黑非常窄的小桥，不要怀疑，过了就到了，相信司机的车技！早上的花园非常惊艳，像一个世外桃源，几个爷爷奶奶做的饭菜也很好吃。他们非常友好！ps早餐是另外付费的哦。
