We stayed at Kirindi Paddy Isle on the last night of our Sri Lanka tour. We were looking for a convenient place close to the airport, as we had a mid-morning flight home the next day. The owners are a lovely couple, very kind and helpful. Michael, the chef, and the rest of the staff prepared a wonderful dinner for us; we felt right at home! The property is very charming and well-kept, and the room was comfortable and clean, with a view of the surrounding rice fields. We dined in the garden, which was also very well-kept. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing! Highly recommended! Laura and Gianluca

This place is a true gem. We had the most incredible stay here in Negombo. A tucked away property that’s completely surrounded by rice paddies made for a memorable stay. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the room itself was beautiful. We would recommend to stay everyone and we wish we had more time! Today recommended at least 2 nights to really enjoy the place!

A must stay location surrounded by lush greenery. The Accomodation itself is a work of art bringing forth a sense of luxury and a true experience of Sri Lankan nature. The moment you enter the property you are welcomed with beautiful scenery. The hospitality and food provided are second to none. The ease of access to this private location and close amenities are a bonus. Fantastic place to stay for families seeking a getaway to enjoy the peace and quiet this perfect home has to offer.

A truly stunning peaceful experience. Wonderful staff. Delicious suthentic home cooked SL food. Beautiful accommodation. Set amongst an active rice paddy field. Wildlife surrounds the place. Traditional thoughtfully furnished SL villa. Spacious bedrooms. Extremely comfortable beds. A/C available. Deluxe bathrooms. Owner takes an active interest in your experience. Staff cater to all needs highly professionally and in a friendly manner. Opportunities for activities such as meditation, spa, and wildlife walks . Extremely strong recommendation from us ....two of us stayed here for 3 relaxing, peaceful days.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, calming and relaxing environment and to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city then Kirindi is the place to go! It’s just what I needed to wind down. With a beautiful paddy field overlooking the rooms and spaces to walk around. The food is delicious and I must mention that the staff is so kind and hospitable. The property is just beautiful and well maintained and it’s not too far out from Colombo (probably an hours drive at best). It was a lovely stay and I will sure visit again when I get the chance.
