We will be back !! We had the most amazing stay at Motu Beachfront Art Villas. The location, staff, the Villas, the beach equipment... everything was beyond AMAZING !!!!!! We were left wanting for nothing. The holiday stay here was perfection. Thank you everyone.
We stayed in beautiful Motu in August. It really is magical, so peaceful and relaxing with the most gorgeous beach at your front door. All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially the hosts, Amy & Claire. They looked after us so well booking dinner reservations, rental car and advice to help us enjoy our time in Raro. The villa itself is lovely, spacious and well equipped. We will definitely be back and thank you so much for such a great stay. J&J
We had an amazing stay at Motu and would highly recommend staying there! The outlook and views are amazing and we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. The staff were fantastic and the personal touches were much appreciated.
A fabulous play to stay. Beautiful villas, stunning location and a short walk to some great restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful and we loved the breakfast supplies, newspapers and pastries. Looking forward to going back.
We recently had a wonderful stay at Motu Beachfront Art Villas. Our villa was spacious and clean, facing the lagoon. There was interesting snorkeling right in front of our villa and kayaks were available. Our villa had a small patio for al fresco dining and 2 lounge chairs on a platform with an umbrella facing the beach specifically for our use. There is a separate living area from the bedroom. The bathroom had double sinks with a door-less open shower, so you had to be careful about water spray, but since there was daily housekeeping it was very manageable. There was a microwave, 2 burner stove and a full-size refrigerator filled with food staples that provided for several breakfasts and lunch. A small grocery store across the street had drinks, snacks and some basic produce. Claire and Amy, the two managers were friendly and helpful. We thought it was an advantage not having an included restaurant as it allowed us to try a variety of food at different restaurants. Claire made restaurant recommendations and even made dinner reservations for us. We enjoyed the relaxing tranquil atmosphere while exploring Rarotonga. Highly recommended!
We stayed for 4 nights as part of our Honeymoon on Rarotonga and later Aitutaki and absolutely loved it. You really are right on one of the most pristine beaches with amazing snorkeling. They have everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. We greatly appreciated the personal touches and recommendations for restaurants throughout our stay.
I can't believe how lucky we were to find this cute little resort. We arrived late at night and when we woke in the morning I thought I was in heaven! We had a beachfront villa that was extremely private with an incredible view of the lagoon. The villa was equipped with complimentary, delicious New Zealand wine and Heineken. They also provided us with milk, eggs, bread and fresh fruit so that we had something for breakfast that morning. The villas were spotlessly cleaned and newly refurbished to perfection! We would go back in a heartbeat!
This is the second time we have stayed here and it didn't disappoint second time round. Amy and Claire the new managers are amazing super helpful and very welcoming. They even had a cocktail evening so guests could spend the evening with them and some of the employees. We like it here because it is quiet and you look after yourself, but if you need anything there is always someone to help, whether its booking a restaurant, activity or massage. The rooms are immaculate, and I love that they put basic supplies in your fridge for your arrival. Newspaper comes every morning and nothing better than to sit on your deck reading the news paper drinking coffee and watching the lagoon. On Sunday morning the added bonus of bakery goods. There are electric bikes which you can book at a small cost, but first come first serve works if you get up early when the bikes first go out. There is also a well stocked honesty bar and a washing machine and drying which is super handy. A new supermarket has opened across the road so ice creams are close at hand and other important supplies. To sum the feeling we have for this place, on a rainy day as we pulled into the drive way my partner said "its just like coming home". Thats the way that Amy, Clare and the staff at Motu make you feel like part of their Motu family.
