We loved everything at Motu. It was small and intimate. Adults only. Very private. Immaculately clean villas and the whole property. Wonderful hospitality, with thoughtful surprise extras. Great locality to shopping and nearby restaurants. Fabulous, friendly, helpful staff.

Motu Art Villas is a very special place, quiet with the most beautiful beach in the world literally on your doorstep. The staff are so friendly and helpful- a special shoutout for Mi’i who has been here,apparently, for 21 years! We love the privacy of the self-contained villas each with their own kitchen and lounge area, as well as beautiful bedroom and bathroom. While there is no restaurant, it is very handy to the Little Polynesian if you want fancy, or Charlie’s if you want very simple and down-to-earth. And Moana Sands next door is another option. But several we end up making our own meals and eating on our deck under the sun umbrella, because we just did not want to leave!

My husband and I spent 6 nights in this beautiful hotel. Everything was super clean, and you get a big basket of fruits and all you need for your first breakfast. Actually we got enough for almost our whole stay, we just bought bread towards the end of our stay. You even get 2 beers and a bottle of wine. One weekend we woke up to a baguette&pastries on our balcony table :) very nice touch. Parking is available if you have a car. Otherwise, it's possible to park just across the road. The staff is very nice and helpful, we had a request during our stay and they were very accommodating. The location is great, the rooms and grounds are beautifully designed and very well maintained. We would recommend this hotel a 100% . We had an amazing time and if we get the opportunity to go back to the island, we'd definitely book again here.

Motu is by far the best place that I have ever stayed at. Mii and Alex were wonderful to meet and made us feel so welcome. This place offers so many 'extras' for its guests - a wonderful welcome spread of wine, beer, fruits, vegetables, bread, and on and on. You also get the use of snorkel gear, eBikes, kayaks, and standup paddleboards. Motu is also located at the best beach in Rarotonga.

We made a last minute decision to spend a few days in Rarotonga on our way to New Zealand. Motu Beachfront Villas turned it into one of the best vacation decisions ever. The property is immaculate and our villa gorgeous. We were met by the lovely Mii who immediately made us feel welcome. We were so appreciative of our upgraded villa complete with everything we needed - even snorkel equipment and food in the fridge. Mii even took us to the grocery to get the rest of the things we needed. There are several restaurants in walking distance and a car rental right next door should you need it. The beach at Motu is beautiful with great snorkeling, kayaks are available as well, even a clear kayak if you're not a snorkeler. The pool and bar area are wonderful, too. We were sad we could not have stayed longer. We met another couple who were spending a month at Motu and we could easily see why. Motu is a slice of paradise and Mii a warm and beautiful hostess.

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in paradise Alex and Tim were so friendly nothing was a bother for them. We had time to rest after our flights in our beautiful premium villa which was very quiet and private. Our villa was just like home the bed and pillows were Devine the decor was clean fresh with a tropical vibe. Room service was impeccable and all the staff were very friendly. Loved our morning paper delivery and our fresh hibiscus for our foot bath(lovely little touches). The view was beautiful so relaxing and calming the gardens so pretty and well maintained. We swam most days out the front of our villa the weather was warm with a breeze. We walked along the beach most nights to dinner. Motu offers everything from the ocean to the beautiful pool, daily cleaning, pool side honesty bar. E bikes for exploring great restaurants within walking distance along the beach or road. Buses were always good and fun. Alex and Tim will help with whatever you need. All the local restaurants were amazing. I would go back tomorrow. Mooiste plek ever ! Service boven verwachting goed. Koelkast gevuld bij aankomst, electrische fietsen, snorkel, kajak en sup zo voor het pakken en gratis te gebruiken. Het personeel doet er alles aan om het verblijf tot de max te beleven. Vanuit het huis zo de zee in en de mooiste vissen zien. Paradijs

My wife and i have had an amazing Stay at Motu. The hosts Tim and Lucile did make sure that all our expectations have been exceeded. The beach front villa with direct access to the beach, access to stand up paddle board and kayaks and just simply all the amenities made our stay one of the best we ever had. We would highly recommend this Place to our friends and families and consider also our selfs to return one day

The experience of staying at Motu beachfront is one I would recommend to any couples that are wanting private adults only accommodation that comes with stunning full service and amazing managers and workers that make you feel well cared for. My husband and I stayed here the week of our wedding in Raro and would choose to stay only here on any future trips! The villas are beautiful and so close to the water it felt like our own little paradise. From the layout of the villas to the decor and design of the main foyer and swimming pool it was perfect. The overall property felt luxurious and what’s not to like about an honesty bar that is open to guests even on Sundays!! The staff were so accommodating it was unexpected as we didn’t realise the extent of the full service we’d receive from a boutique resort of villas. Our stay was amazing and everything was so picture perfect for our likings. Would 100% recommend!
