2nd visit to Sam & Steves welcoming guest house. This time we had room 4 with a nice view of the Lake in the distance. Room was spotless. Fresh towels daily, shower gels, tea coffee replenished daily with a biscuit ( nice touch) Breakfast plentiful, with various cereals, juices fresh fruit and yoghurts. Then a full English or Vegetarian made to order with scrambled, fried or poached egg. As much tea/ coffee and toast refills as you want! Love Steve’s white board in the hall which lets you know of anything that is going on in the area and they interact well with all guests offering advise in the area. Added bonus they have their own parking spaces too! Nice 5 min stroll to the Lake and shops ! Ideal location
Fantastic guesthouse, close to centre and lake, lovely hosts, Sam and Steve go that extra mile. Rooms are lovely, modern and clean, hand soaps, shampoo and shower gels provided are sourced from a local shop in Bowness which is a nice touch. Towels changed daily. I recommend room 2 it’s the largest room that overlooks the lake. Car park is located at rear of guesthouse. Breakfast was lovely, lovely fruit and yogurts, cooked breakfast, plenty of toast, tea and coffee.
Stayed for the bank holiday weekend.guesthouse is in a great location near all bars and restaurants.owners are lovely and friendly.nice and clean cleaned daily towels changed each day .nice view from room.carpark free near guest house.breakfast nice each morning yoghurts juice cereal and cooked breakfast to your preference.small and nice only a few rooms .
