While we’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the stunning harbour views and found our concierge team to be excellent, I’m truly sorry to learn that other aspects of your experience fell short of expectations.We understand that after a long-haul flight, a seamless and personal arrival is particularly important. While we do offer self-service kiosk check-in as a convenient option for guests, please know that our reception team remains fully available to assist with the entire check-in and check-out process. We regret that this was not made clearer upon your arrival, and I apologise if it gave the impression that personalised service was not available.Thank you also for your comments regarding the condition of the room, the indoor pool, and your concerns with the uphill walk to the hotel. Our location does provide us with some of the most iconic views in Sydney, but we acknowledge that the incline can present challenges, especially for guests travelling with elderly family members. Our team is always happy to assist with taxi arrangements or luggage support to help make access more comfortable.We appreciate your loyalty as a Shangri-La Circle member and are genuinely sorry to hear that this stay did not reflect the warmth and service you’ve experienced at our other properties.
