Nice stay Lovely hotel and large rooms. The front office person who checked us in was helpful. Only complaint - The bell hop and valet situation was super slow and a bit confusing. No one came up to us to grab our key or assist with our luggage.

Very clean hotel, convenient as it’s downtown but very pricey. 25. Complimentary Snacks in lobby. Valet parking only which was annoying given the price we paid for the room. Rooms are small but comfortable. Had hairdryer, iron, closet space. Overal, I was most impressed with the bed (firm) and the pillows. A bad bed and pillows will ruin the sleep. Didn’t have that problem here. Will stay again if back in Eugene. Had t been to Eugene in over 30 years and can’t believe how congested and built up it got. It was better before- but all the hippies are old and dying so it’s not what it used to be.

Perfect Stay / Perfect Location in Eugene Inn at the 5th is a wonderful, clean hotel in an ideal location in the heart of Eugene. The hotel is surrounded by a dozen or more restaurants, bars, and shops in three different markets, meaning you can easily walk to shop, dine, and drink. If you want to venture farther, the location is accessible to all that Eugene has to offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our short stay. On-site EV charging is a great convenience, too. Highly recommended.

Second time visitor and just as nice as the first time. Really appreciated the valet and how accommodating they were when I mentioned I had a red eye. Found the car ready when I had to check out. Amazing attention to detail!

Wonderful Stay! I was in town for a friend’s wedding. I love staying here. It’s clean, there are great amenities, and the area is lovely. This was my 3rd stay and I’ll continue to stay here whenever I’m in Eugene.

This is a fine property. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Features free sodas, water, apples, a variety of granola-type breakfast bars, and internet, all for free. When our return home flight was canceled, they worked with us to extend our 8 day vacation stay another night during a sold-out week. We recommend this hotel for its balance between price, amenities, comfort, and excellent staff.

Deeply Disappointed by the Fifth Avenue Hotel – Not Worth the Price I recently stayed in the Mansion Suite at the Fifth Avenue Hotel to celebrate my mother’s birthday—a special occasion for which we spared no expense. At nearly $3,000 per night, we expected exceptional service and attention to detail. What we experienced instead was the most disappointing stay I’ve had at any five-star hotel globally. Unacceptable Restaurant Delay: Despite having a confirmed reservation at the hotel’s restaurant for my mother's birthday dinner, we were made to wait almost 40 minutes past our scheduled time. For a property of this caliber, such delays are simply unacceptable. Billing Error: We were erroneously charged $110 for in-room dining that we never ordered. We did not consume a single drop of wine during our stay, yet wine was included in this false charge. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, the response was perfunctory at best. Poor Front Desk Handling: The front desk manager, Victoria, acknowledged the mistake but only offered a muttered apology. No gesture of goodwill, credit, or any form of service recovery was extended—a basic standard at any luxury property when such errors occur. One Bright Spot: The only positive moment during our stay was our restaurant server, who provided excellent cocktail recommendations for my uncle. Their professionalism was a stark contrast to the rest of the experience. As someone who spends over a month each year staying at luxury properties around the world, I can confidently say this was the worst experience I’ve had at any five-star hotel of this price range. For the price and prestige, the service and management fell dramatically short. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone.
